If there was ever a match for the constantly evolving world of travel, it's the constantly evolving world of technology. In our commitment to provide innovative and proactive tools to our clients, we have expanded our team to include an expert in event technology.

It all started in 2015 when we implemented Cvent as our main sourcing and registration tool. To ensure our clients would have access to all of the benefits of this robust software, we brought on Deborah Thomas, CMP, as our Technology Implementation Specialist for Cadence Meetings & Incentives.

Deborah is a graduate of the L. Robert Payne school of Hospitality & Tourism Management at San Diego State University.  She began her hospitality career with an inside-sales role with a prestigious global destination management company, where she was able to develop and use extensive knowledge of venues, suppliers and products to create memorable events and experiences for visitors to Southern California destinations.

Always the over-achiever, Deborah has been the recipient of several internal creativity awards, which recognized not only her ability to create unique events, but also her ability to find creative solutions to potential program challenges.  Deborah’s most recent experience, before coming to Cadence, was with the meeting and events division of another large corporate travel management company, where she was responsible for building, managing and maintaining registration websites using Cvent.  Deborah worked closely with clients and other team members to customize the registration experience for attendees while also streamlining communication and reporting with clients.

Deborah's presence has already pushed us toward innovation. Earlier this year, we were able to implement Cvent’s strategic meeting management software to provide a comprehensive meeting solution to our clients that connects each part of the planning process (sourcing, registration, meeting management, budgeting, onsite apps, budgeting, and financial reporting).
