A brand new luxury terminal at Los Angeles International Airport is transforming air travel into a seamless and- dare we say- peaceful experience.
The Private Suite at LAX is a discreet reservation-only passenger terminal for both domestic and international flights. Through a combination of service, amenities and convenience, the facility (which is so nice that CNN speculated it may be the "most luxurious airport terminal in the world") dramatically enhances the airport experience.
Service
While inside The Private Suite, an eight person team is assigned to handle your every need. In addition to the discreet and seamless arrival and departure support, there are complimentary in-room manicurists, masseuse and hair stylists available for additional indulgences.
Amenities
All 13 suites are stocked for travelers to eat, drink and groom while waiting to fly to their destination. A personal food pantry is filled with a variety of snacks, drinks, wine and spirits. Espressos and cappuccinos can be served upon request. Individual lounges come furnished with flat screen tv, a two person daybed and front row view of the runway. Luxury sundries and toiletries accompany the adjoining private bath.
Working while on the run? The Private Suite comes with a business meeting room, complete with a video conferencing studio. For flyers with little ones in tow, The Private Suite caters to kiddos as well. A Toy Menu is available to browse, as well an outdoor children’s play area to keep kids busy prior to boarding.
Convenience
From a highly secured entrance, departing guests leave their cars to a complimentary valet. En route to their suite, IDs are verified and bags are tagged and checked through a private TSA screening process. When it is time to board, guests are driven across the tarmac to the aircraft and escorted to the door of their plane where a team member accompanies them to their seat at the front of the cabin.
Guests arriving to LAX are greeted by a concierge at the aircraft door, and escorted down the jet-bridge to the tarmac where a private vehicle awaits. International travelers are whisked to The Private Suite facilities and escorted through a personal immigration and custom processing.
