The destination
Nestled next to the legendary Beringer Estate Winery, and just a short walk from St. Helena’s vibrant downtown Main Street, Alila Napa Valley is ideally placed to experience the best of California’s most celebrated wine region – from its beautiful countryside to indulging in its epicurean lifestyle. The hotel
The hotel is built around a stately Georgian-style guesthouse that was originally constructed in 1907 and now houses the hotel’s Acacia House restaurant as well as six of its 68 rooms and suites. In the guestrooms, picture calming, neutral palettes, floor-to-ceiling glass with vineyard and estate views, luxury linens, bespoke Italian furnishings, spa-like bathrooms, and high-tech automation. An oversized balcony or wraparound terrace with a fire pit grace most of the rooms, where guests can unwind in luxurious seclusion and serenity. Select rooms also feature an outdoor soaking tub on the balcony.

The experience
Take one of the electric-assist Electra Go! bikes for a spin along iconic Highway 101 into the villages of Leucadia, Encinitas, and Cardiff by the Sea.
