Why you never need to pay for navigation again
Cadence staff pick: Don Jones, Executive VP of Sales and Marketing
Clunky, traditional GPS navigation systems may be a thing of the past according to Marketwatch.com's recent "10 Things Not to Buy in 2014" list of dying technologies. (Also included: cable TV, desktop computers, and credit cards without miles programs).
Most newer car models have a built in navigation system, and there are a number of free, high quality navigation apps out there that will get you where you're going.
My top pick: Waze. I just can't live without it.
For most of us, there are two seasons: winter and construction. Harmless summertime roadwork can significantly delay a business traveler navigating through a new city, making community-based navigation app "Waze" the key to getting to a meeting on time and stress-free. The real-time road info is constantly updated by millions of travelers working together to outsmart traffic, improve maps, and even pinpoint the area's lowest gas prices during summer price spikes.
This app is everything travel management should be- flexible, customized and proactive to improve the traveler's experience!
