Cadence Turns 20: Collecting Hotel Toiletries for Locals in Need

Working in the travel industry creates of a lot of opportunities for hoarding tiny bottles of hotel shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. This year, we found a much better place for our collections than the back of our bathroom cabinets!

With the help of our employees, independent affiliates and loyal travel partners (thank you Embassy Suites, Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa and Courtyard San Diego Central!) we participated in Giving Tuesday with a successful hotel toiletry drive at our headquarters. The donations we received will be distributed to the Hidden Valley House as well as the United Service Organization.

We are now also accepting gently used household items for JIT Foster Youth. Every year hundreds leave foster care to fend for themselves without family support... They need essentials like kitchenware, appliances, bedding, towels, etc. Before you make room for your holiday gifts this year, we encourage you to clean out your storage and see if you have anything extra you could give.
